Courtney Davis is an educator, author, and Nervous System Wellness Coach based in South Florida. For over ten years, she has been dedicated to shaping young minds and uplifting communities through education, mentorship, and advocacy for personal growth. As a writer and speaker, Courtney uses her voice to empower women and young people to reconnect with their inner strength, regulate their nervous systems, and live intentionally. She is the author of the upcoming poetry collection Roots and Roses, a reflective body of work exploring themes of love, grief, resilience, healing, and the power of self-discovery. In addition to her work in education and writing, Courtney is the founder of Burn & Breathe Wellness, a wellness platform focused on embodied movement, nervous system regulation, and personal transformation. Through coaching, movement practices, and wellness experiences, she helps individuals reconnect with themselves in ways that support both emotional and physical well-being. Courtney believes that when women learn to protect their voices and care for their inner worlds, they create legacies that extend far beyond themselves.
Shatangela “Coach Tan” Jackson is a former professional dancer, passionate dance educator, mentor, and community leader committed to empowering the next generation through the transformative power of dance. She currently serves as the Dance Director of the LionEssence Dance Team at Florida Memorial University and is a performing arts dance instructor at Parkway Middle School, where she inspires young dancers to pursue excellence, confidence, and purpose both on and off the stage. Known for her dynamic leadership and dedication to youth development, Coach Tan has built a reputation for creating impactful spaces where young women can grow in discipline, self-expression, and leadership through dance and mentorship. Through dance clinics, community programs, and student performances, she continues to uplift and guide young people to discover their voice and walk boldly in their potential. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shatangela proudly carries the title of Super Mom. After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of her daughter to cancer, she transformed her pain into purpose. Her daughter’s legacy fuels her passion to pour love, strength, and encouragement into the lives of young people and women everywhere. Through faith, resilience, and service, Coach Tan continues to inspire others to rise through life’s storms with grace, courage, and unwavering purpose.
Marie Duperval is a Broward County Public Schools principal recognized for driving instructional excellence, advancing school improvement, and expanding opportunities for students. She champions rigorous academic pathways that accelerate college and career readiness, enabling students to earn college credit while reducing financial barriers for families. Throughout her leadership career, she has strengthened postsecondary access by expanding early college opportunities, increasing graduation rates, and aligning school programs with workforce and college readiness. While serving at Boyd H. Anderson High School, she helped secure designation as a Cambridge International School, launched the NEO International Academy to support newcomer students, established the first Community ESOL program serving families in the Lauderdale Lakes zone, and developed Broward County’s first school-based Haitian Creole language program. Ms. Duperval holds advanced credentials in School Turnaround Leadership and Leading Challenging Schools and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University. She remains committed to advancing educational excellence, equity, and expanded opportunity for Florida’s students.
Dr. Trice is an author, speaker, and founder of TeacHER Love Network Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering adolescent girls and young women through mentorship, mental wellness, and leadership development. With a passion for community impact and social-emotional learning, she creates transformative programs that build confidence, resilience, and self-worth. Through her work, Dr. Trice is committed to helping young women find their voice, embrace their identity, and lead with purpose.
