About the Author
Dr. MarTrice Jackson is a dedicated educator, curriculum designer, nonprofit founder, and advocate for social-emotional learning, mental wellness, and the holistic empowerment of young women and girls. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Jackson has built a distinguished career at the intersection of education, leadership, and community impact. Her work is rooted in the belief that academic success and emotional well-being are deeply connected—and that students thrive most when they are seen, supported, and empowered as whole individuals.
Dr. Jackson holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), with specialized research focused on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and its impact on academic achievement and behavioral outcomes in middle school students. As a certified educator and instructional leader, she has served in multiple high-impact roles, and her expertise in curriculum and instructional design has supported teachers, students, and school leaders in strengthening literacy outcomes, improving instructional practices, and implementing evidence-based interventions that support diverse learners.
Dr. Jackson is not only an inspiring educator but also the Founder and Executive Director of TeacHER Network, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering adolescent girls and young women. Through mentorship, education, and leadership development, her organization fosters self-love identity growth, and academic support. The initiatives are built on a comprehensive Seven-Pillar Empowerment Framework that encompasses social-emotional learning,-building, wellness, and mental health advocacy. Under her guidance, TeacHER Love Network is making a significant impact in the lives of young women and their communities.
A skilled facilitator and trainer, Dr. Jackson has led workshops, forums, and cohort-based programs for youth, educators, and community partners, addressing topics such as emotional resilience, literacy development, leadership, and mental health awareness. Her work as a research practitioner includes qualitative analysis, thematic coding, and the design of school-based intervention models that inform both practice and policy. She is also a recognized contributor to community initiatives focused on education equity, family wellness, and women’s empowerment.
As an emerging author and motivational speaker, Dr. Jackson uses storytelling, reflection, and poetic narrative to explore themes of identity, healing, resilience, and self-love. Through her writing and speaking, she amplifies the voices of young women navigating life’s challenges and invites readers to reconnect with their inner strength, clarity, and purpose.
